Wood flooring in commercial and residential properties is not uncommon. Our joiners can create new wood floors, made from the timber of choice, as well as repair and renovate existing floors too.
Â
Wood is a common and plentiful material that can be shaped to take on a variety of roles within the structure of a building, from roof trusses to flooring.
Â
Wide, thick planks are cut from tall trees and for hardwood flooring, this meant a floor that was robust yet warm visually and to the touch. Over time, decorative flourishes and detailing were added. For high-end finishes, parquet flooring was considered the luxury end of the wood flooring market – to a certain extent, it still is.
