The shape of a staircase may depend on the space available, the age of the property and your budget, as well as your likes and dislikes. There are several shapes of staircases to choose from including straight flight stairs, spiral stairs, curved staircases or dog-legged stairs to name but a few. There are also ultra-modern shapes and styles that are increasingly popular such as the magically floating cantilevered stairs. For some applications, such as mezzanine floors, contemporary fixed ladder style wood staircases are an increasingly popular choice. Whatever your preference, our team of expert joiners can do it all.Â
As well as creating an entirely new set of stairs, our team can also work on staircase restoration projects. The split staircase, for example, is common as the main, sweeping staircase in period properties. Risers may need replacing or bannisters or strings, all tasks our joiners are able to complete to a high standard and finish.Â

We always endeavour to complete your bespoke project within the timeframe provided, however this is not always possible. Smaller, less complicated jobs can take anywhere from 2 – 3 weeks and more advanced or detailed work will take a minimum of 6 weeks to complete. We will be able to give you a good idea on timeframe when you contact us.Â

Yes, but please make us aware if you have COVID19 or are showing symptoms. For the fitting of bespoke products and on-site estimates our staff will wear the appropriate PPE.
